Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team on weekends. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages and pastries, maintaining cleanliness in the workspace, and ensuring that every customer has a delightful experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and tea beverages according to standard recipes.
Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering questions about menu items.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including equipment, counters, and seating areas.
Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while adhering to cash handling procedures.
Follow food safety guidelines and ensure compliance with health regulations in food handling practices.
Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages as needed.
Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance customer satisfaction.

Skills

Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change.
Strong customer service skills to effectively assist customers and address their needs.
Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure the health and safety of customers.
Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during peak hours.
Experience in food handling within the food industry is preferred but not required.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Latte art is a huge bonus!

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.75-$20.00 per hour
