Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. This role is essential in preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring a smooth flow of meal service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent culinary skills, and experience working in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This position offers an opportunity to develop culinary expertise and contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Duties

Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and consistency
Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Ensure all food handling procedures adhere to safety and sanitation regulations
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts
Follow food safety protocols to prevent cross-contamination and ensure proper storage of ingredients
Support the kitchen team during busy periods by assisting with plating and order assembly
Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service roles within a restaurant or food industry setting
Strong knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques
Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions precisely
Knowledge of meal preparation processes and kitchen equipment operation
Experience with serving or customer service is a plus but not required
A team-oriented attitude with a focus on quality and attention to detail

Pay: $17.20-$24.45 per hour
