Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Head Chef to be a partner and to lead our culinary team and elevate our restaurant’s dining experience. As the cornerstone of our kitchen operations, you will craft innovative menus, oversee food preparation, and ensure exceptional quality and presentation in every dish. Your leadership will inspire a motivated team, uphold food safety standards, and create a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere for our guests. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise while managing all aspects of restaurant kitchen operations with energy and precision.

Duties

Lead, supervise, and motivate the culinary team to deliver outstanding food service and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
Develop creative menus that reflect current food trends while catering to customer preferences and dietary needs
Oversee all food preparation activities, ensuring consistency, freshness, and adherence to recipes and portion sizes
Manage kitchen operations efficiently, including inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness in compliance with food safety regulations
Train staff on proper food handling procedures, cooking techniques, and safety protocols to foster a culture of excellence and safety
Collaborate with restaurant management to plan staffing schedules, monitor performance, and implement improvements in service delivery
Ensure compliance with health codes, sanitation standards, and food safety policies at all times
Serve as a role model for professionalism, leadership, and hospitality within the team

Qualifications

Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment
Extensive food preparation and cooking expertise across various cuisines
Strong background in food service operations with a focus on quality control and customer satisfaction
Demonstrated team management skills with the ability to lead, train, and develop staff effectively
Knowledge of restaurant management principles including inventory control, cost management, and staff scheduling
Solid understanding of food handling safety standards and hygiene practices
Excellent leadership qualities with a passion for hospitality and culinary arts
Experience working within the food industry or restaurant sector is highly desirable
