Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher, FormSetter and a Forman to join our team Willing to work in Barrie & Surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete finishing and related construction tasks. Ability to take grades from poured concrete. Proficiency in applying various finishes, including stamped, broom finish ext. Proven experience in the field . Reliable Transportation. Pay to be discussed.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for concrete pouring by cleaning, leveling, and setting forms.
- Mix, pour, and spread concrete according to specifications.
- Finish surfaces using hand tools and power tools to achieve desired textures and finishes.
- Perform caulking and masonry work as required for project completion.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals, including carpenters and drywall installers, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Renovate existing structures by applying concrete finishing techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
Experience
- Proven experience in concrete finishing is essential.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in construction.
- Experience in concrete forming and installation processes is a plus.
- Background in carpentry or masonry work is highly desirable.
- Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed instructions effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
