Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Journeyman Service Plumber/Gasfitter/HVAC/Refrigeration tech or to join our team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing and gas systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, construction experience, and the ability to interpret schematics and blueprints. As a key member of our service team, you will ensure the safe and efficient operation of plumbing systems while providing exceptional customer service. Duties

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing and gas fitting systems according to industry standards and safety regulations
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute projects accurately
Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other construction tools to complete installations and repairs
Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely during job assignments
Conduct routine maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent future issues
Troubleshoot system malfunctions using schematic diagrams and technical manuals
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
Assist in the assembly of plumbing components and related fixtures as required
Maintain detailed records of work performed for client documentation and compliance purposes

Experience

Proven experience as a Journeyman Service Plumber or Gasfitter with valid certification/license
Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in HVAC systems, carpentry, welding, and general maintenance tasks
Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with basic math skills for measurements and calculations
Experience working with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics in construction or service environments
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding conditions for extended periods
Prior background in construction or maintenance work is highly desirable
Knowledge of safety standards related to plumbing, gas fitting, and general construction practices
