SOMMAIRE DE L’EMPLOI

Relevant de la directrice des services administratifs, le ou la Commis aux comptes payables assure le traitement des factures fournisseurs, la réconciliation des comptes et la préparation des paiements. La personne collabore également avec les fournisseurs et les équipes internes afin de résoudre les problématiques de facturation et d’améliorer les processus comptables.

PRINCIPALES RESPONSABILITÉS

Comptes payables

Recevoir, vérifier, coder et enregistrer les factures dans l’ERP.
Apparier les bons de commande, bons de réception et factures.
Préparer et émettre les paiements.
Assurer le suivi des factures, comptes fournisseurs, crédits et écarts.
Traiter les factures de services, transport et douanes.
Réconcilier les états de compte et maintenir les dossiers à jour.

Fournisseurs et amélioration continue

Répondre aux demandes des fournisseurs et collaborer avec les équipes internes afin de résoudre les enjeux de facturation.
Veiller au respect des politiques et contrôles financiers.
Identifier et mettre en place des améliorations aux processus de comptes payables.
Participer à différents projets d’optimisation.

Soutien administratif et comptable

Effectuer les encaissements et préparer les courus mensuels liés aux comptes payables.
Participer à la gestion du courrier et à différentes tâches administratives et comptables.

PROFIL RECHERCHÉ

DEC en comptabilité ou en gestion de commerce, ou toute combinaison de formation et d’expérience pertinente.
Minimum de 3 ans d’expérience en comptes payables à haut volume, idéalement dans un environnement manufacturier.
Bonne maîtrise d’Excel, Word et Outlook et expérience avec un système ERP ou logiciel comptable.
Bonne connaissance des comptes payables, de la réconciliation et de l’analyse des écarts.
Rigueur, autonomie, sens de l’organisation, esprit analytique et capacité à gérer plusieurs priorités.
Excellentes aptitudes en communication et en collaboration, discrétion et professionnalisme.
Attitude positive, débrouillardise, esprit d’équipe et orientation vers l’amélioration continue.
Maîtrise du français et de l’anglais, à l’oral comme à l’écrit.
Expérience en milieu manufacturier et avec les factures de services, transport et douanes, un atout.

POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Director of Administrative Services, the Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for processing supplier invoices, reconciling accounts, and preparing payments. The successful candidate will also collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve billing issues and improve accounting processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Accounts Payable

Receive, verify, code, and enter invoices into the ERP system.
Match purchase orders, receiving documents, and invoices.
Prepare and issue payments.
Follow up on invoices, supplier accounts, credits, and discrepancies.
Process invoices related to services, transportation, and customs.
Reconcile supplier statements and maintain up-to-date records.

Supplier Relations and Continuous Improvement

Respond to supplier inquiries and collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing issues.
Ensure compliance with financial policies and controls.
Identify and implement improvements to accounts payable processes.
Participate in various optimization projects.

Administrative and Accounting Support

Process customer receipts and prepare monthly accruals related to accounts payable.
Assist with incoming and outgoing mail and perform various administrative and accounting-related tasks.

PROFILE WE ARE LOOKING FOR

DEC in Accounting or Business Management, or any combination of relevant education and experience.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a high-volume accounts payable environment, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
Good knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook, along with experience using an ERP system or accounting software.
Good knowledge of accounts payable processes, account reconciliation, and discrepancy analysis.
Strong attention to detail, autonomy, organizational skills, analytical mindset, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with discretion and professionalism.
Positive attitude, resourcefulness, team spirit, and a continuous improvement mindset.
Fluency in both French and English, spoken and written.
Manufacturing experience and experience processing service, transportation, and customs invoices are considered assets.
