Full job description

Position: Part-Time Clinical Counsellor

Location: Kamloops, BC

Hours: 20 hours per week

Wage: $47.87 per hour, as per the collective agreement

Summary:

Axis Family Resources Ltd. is hiring a compassionate and skilled Clinical Counsellor to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with children, youth, and their support networks to develop and implement service plans, provide direct clinical services, and support stabilization and transition planning. This role involves providing direct clinical services such as intake, assessment, treatment, crisis intervention, and therapy. Qualifications and Requirements

Master’s degree in Social Work, Educational Counseling, Clinical Psychology, or Child and Youth Care, or comparable graduate degree at the Master’s level or equivalent.
5 years of direct clinical supervision experience in social services working with children, youth, adults, and families.
Registration and good standing with BC Association of Clinical Counsellors
Clear Criminal Record Check (agency conducted, expenses covered)
Strong documentation and communication skills
Safe driving record, access to a reliable vehicle, and proof of at least 2,000,000 liability insurance will be required
