Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic technology team. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of robust web applications and backend systems, utilizing a wide array of modern technologies. Your expertise will drive innovation across our software solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and high performance. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex projects that impact our global operations and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Architecture & System Design:
- Design and implement scalable cloud-based systems using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Lead system architecture decisions and technology selection to ensure long-term maintainability and scalability
- Establish and promote best practices for system performance, reliability, and security
- Ensure architecture consistency across global teams
System Development & Delivery:
- Contribute to both front-end and back-end development (approximately 60% hands-on coding)
- Develop applications using modern frameworks such as React, Next.js, or Vue
- Write high-quality, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Ensure technical solutions align with business and product requirements
AI & Innovation Applications:
- Support implementation of AI-enabled features, such as:
- Customer service automation (LLM-based chatbot)
- Intelligent itinerary recommendation and optimization systems
- Integration with third-party AI services (e.g., OpenAI API)
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI to improve operational efficiency and customer experience
Technical Leadership & Cross-Region Collaboration:
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to developers
- Act as the Technical Lead for North America
- Collaborate closely with headquarters in Taipei to maintain architectural alignment
- Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders
DevOps & System Reliability
- Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
- Ensure system stability during peak seasons with a target of 99.9% uptime
- Promote monitoring, logging, and incident response best practices
QualificationsRequired
- 5+ years of full-stack development experience
- Experience in technical leadership or senior-level engineering roles preferred
- Proficiency in at least one of the following:
- TypeScript / JavaScript
- C# (.NET)
- Go
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks:
- React
- Next.js
- Vue
- Strong experience with:
- RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- SQL databases (PostgreSQL / MS SQL)
- Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- Strong English communication skills
Preferred
- Experience in e-commerce, fintech, or travel-related industries
- Mandarin Chinese proficiency preferred for cross-region collaboration
- Experience designing scalable distributed systems
- Experience integrating AI solutions into production environments
