Overview

***Please read the job description as this role involves caring for children in your own home. Areas that we are looking for providers are Greely, Bells Corners, Hunt Club, and Glen Cairn***

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Childcare Provider to support families by providing attentive and nurturing care for children in a home setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment that promotes the child's well-being, development, and happiness. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in children's lives while fostering a warm and trusting relationship with families.

Responsibilities

Provide attentive supervision and care for children of various ages in a home environment
Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children's dietary needs and preferences
Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social development
Assist with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, and nap times
Maintain a clean and organized living space, including regular cleaning of toys, play areas, and children's belongings
Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized care as needed
Foster positive behavior through teaching patience, manners, and conflict resolution skills
Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding the child's progress, activities, and any concerns

Requirements

Experience working with children of various ages, including infants and toddlers
Ability to cook nutritious meals and prepare snacks suitable for children
Knowledge of caregiving best practices and child safety protocols
Compassionate attitude with excellent caregiving skills
Ability to work independently while maintaining open communication with families
Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
Strong cleaning skills to ensure a safe and hygienic environment
Teaching or educational experience is desirable but not required
Valid background check and ability to pass any necessary screening processes
