WHO YOU ARE:

Experience:

Minimum 3 years in hospitality or sales & marketing, or a degree in Hotel, Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration
OR a related field with 2+ years in hotel sales/marketing

Preferred Extras

A sales pro with proven success driving revenue and building client relationships.
Experience with major brands (Marriott, Hilton, Accor, IHG, Hyatt) is a major plus.
Confident communicator, pro collaborator, and natural motivator.
Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Bilingual (English/French) an asset.
Pre-opening and grand opening skills are highly valued – let us make some noise.
Experience with sales management systems (Delphi, MRDW, One Yield, MS Office Suite).

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Lead with Energy

Drive hotel revenue growth across Rooms, Banquets and Catering
Knock targets out of the park
Proactively search and undercover sources of business that are aligned with the Moxy Brand energy
Enter, maintain, and update information in the customer relationship system and ensure accurate follow-up
Conduct solicitation and site inspections to establish long-term business relationships
Propose specific marketing actions to support market segments
Develop existing accounts to grow share and build sustainable revenue

Relationship Building

Cultivate strong personal connections with clients, partners, and the community
Show up and make an impact in meetings, events, and in the lobby
Participate in business fairs, external activities with clients as needed
Participate in the “Manager on Duty” (MOD) program

Create Smart Strategies

Identify new market opportunities and develop action plans with creativity
Analyze market trends and adjust tactics to stay ahead
Keep informed of supply, demand and competition
Collaborate with the Revenue team to optimize pricing and inventory management

Own the Process

Manage sales activities, budgets, and reporting with precision
Keep communications open and teams aligned
Prepare and write weekly, monthly, and quarterly activity reports
Collaborate with operations, accounting, and other departments to maintain hotel performance
Familiar with Marriott Brand GSS, BSA and GXP
Comply with company standards, policies and procedures
