Position: Millwright

Location: Kapuskasing, ON

Commitment:

Comply with all health, safety, and environmental standards, as well as applicable regulations and laws.

Responsibilities:

Work in a team to ensure preventive and curative maintenance of production equipment.
Participate in the improvement of equipment in place and the implementation of new equipment.
Provide support to production teams.
You need to be safety-conscious, energetic, and able to understand your role in our team.
Promote and provide a safe workplace, seek improvements, and support Health & Safety program.
Maintain communications program to keep employees informed.
Support compliance with collective agreements and sound union/management/employee relations.
Report to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Requirements:

Preference given to those possessing a Red Seal Certificate.
Education: Two-year college diploma preferred.
Experience: Extensive mechanical experience is an asset.
Language: Bilingualism is an asset (French and English).

Travailler en équipe pour assurer la maintenance préventive et curative des équipements de production.
Participer à l’amélioration des équipements en place et à l’implantation de nouveaux équipements.
Apporter un soutien aux équipes de production.
Vous devez être soucieux de la sécurité, énergique et capable de comprendre votre rôle au sein de notre équipe.
Promouvoir et fournir un lieu de travail sûr, rechercher des améliorations et soutenir le programme de santé et de sécurité.
Maintenir un programme de communication pour informer les employés.
Soutenir le respect des conventions collectives et des relations saines entre les syndicats, la direction et les employés.
Rendre compte au superviseur de l’entretien.

Exigences:

La préférence est donnée à ceux qui possèdent un certificat du Sceau rouge.
Formation: Diplôme d’études collégiales de deux ans de préférence.
Expérience: Une vaste expérience en mécanique est un atout.
Langue: Le bilinguisme est un atout (français et anglais).
