Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Technician to join our busy denture clinic. The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting high-quality dental prostheses while ensuring a seamless workflow in our laboratory and directly with our denturists and lab team.

Duties

Design and fabricate dentures: complete, partial, implant supported or retained.
Proficiency with denture set-ups in wax for complete and partial dentures, including wax-ups for try in and finish
Perform repairs and adjustments to existing dental prostheses.
Fabricating and refitting acrylic partials onto duplicate models
Utilize a variety of materials and tools to achieve optimal results.
Ability to accurately grind, shape, and polish recently processed cases
Maintain detailed records of each case and update patient information as necessary.
Ensure all lab equipment is maintained and in good working order. Collaborate with dentists and other team members to ensure patient satisfaction and quality of work.
Ordering & managing of lab supplies
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Experience

Previous experience in a dental office or laboratory setting is preferred.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently are essential for success in this role.
Certification in Dental Technology or related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a dental technician.
Proficiency in using dental laboratory equipment and materials.
Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Good understanding of dental anatomy and terminology.
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Willingness to continually update skills and knowledge through training and professional development.
