Job Description

Rogers Law Group is seeking a Lawyer with 2 - 5+ years of litigation experience to join our firm at either our Kelowna or Vancouver location. Mentorship will be available as needed however you must be able to run files and manage a full caseload independently. We are looking for someone who is courageous, ambitious, and excited to jump in to a collegial, team-based environment. Must be comfortable attending court in Supreme and Provincial on an urgent basis as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Manage family law, civil, and estate litigation files independently
Draft pleadings, applications, affidavits, settlement proposals, correspondence, etc
Attend trials, applications, mediations, and discoveries
Conduct legal research, review documents, and provide strategic advice to clients
Collaborate with support staff and other lawyers to advance matters efficiently

Remote Work

This position will initially be fully remote, with access to office space as needed for court preparation, client meetings, or other in-person requirements. A more established hybrid work arrangement will be available as the role develops.

Qualifications

Called to the Bar in BC with 2 to 5+ years of litigation experience
Organized, detail-oriented, and committed to excellence in client service
Strong written and oral advocacy skills
Able to work independently and as part of a team
