Full job description

The Fastener Group, a well-established wholesaler of tools and fasteners across Western Canada is seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our growing sales team at BC Fasteners & Tools Ltd. Kelowna location. Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, this role is responsible for developing and maintaining strong customer relationships, expanding business opportunities, and driving sales growth throughout Kelowna and the surrounding area. This position requires frequent travel within the territory.

We are looking for a self-motivated sales professional with experience prospecting, developing new business, and growing customer relationships within industrial and construction-related markets.

If you have worked in Industrial distribution, Fasteners, Construction supply, MRO, Safety products, Tools, Building materials or Manufacturing supply, then we are looking for you!

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of Industrial B2B sales experience
Valid driver's license & Clean driver's abstract
Ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory(In person from Kelowna BC)
Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proven ability to work independently while remaining highly service-oriented.
Self-motivated with a results-driven, positive attitude.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales objectives.
Proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our product lines to provide effective solutions.
Proactively identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities.
Deliver knowledgeable product support tailored to customer needs.
Prepare and present quotes, process orders, and maintain accurate records in company systems.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure outstanding customer service and support.
Represent The Fastener Group with professionalism and integrity.
