Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are thoroughly cleaned and ready for use. This position is essential for supporting our culinary team and providing excellent service to our guests.

Duties

Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of trash regularly.
Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients.
Ensure all kitchen tools and equipment are cleaned and stored properly after use.
Follow health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation practices.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.

Skills

Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail to maintain high standards of hygiene.
Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills is a plus.
Familiarity with food service operations and food handling guidelines.
Experience in hospitality or hotel settings can be beneficial for understanding customer service expectations.
