Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our retail team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing excellent service while managing transactions efficiently. The ideal candidate is organized, communicative, and capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual skills and experience in retail sales or technical sales are highly valued to enhance customer interactions and support sales initiatives.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping needs
Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling and transactions
Process sales, returns, and exchanges with attention to detail
Conduct product demos and upsell items to meet customer needs
Maintain merchandising displays and ensure product availability
Provide information about products and services, including technical features when applicable
Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
Manage time effectively to serve multiple customers efficiently during busy periods
Maintain organized checkout areas and ensure cleanliness of workstations
Support team members with inventory management and restocking as needed

Experience

Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, or cashiering is preferred
Bilingual abilities (English and another language) are a strong plus
Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math skills are essential
Experience with technology sales or product demos enhances customer engagement
Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening
Organizational skills and time management capabilities are necessary for success in this role
