We’re looking for (Journeyperson/Journeyman) Automotive Service Technician to perform routine maintenance to complex repairs on compact cars, domestic vehicles and light-duty fleets. This full-time, permanent role is based in our New Minas, NS, store.

Responsibilities

Perform a wide range of general mechanical services, including brake and suspension repairs, engine diagnostics, and routine maintenance.
Mentor and coach apprentices by sharing your expertise and supporting their skill development in a learning-focused environment.
Collaborate with a skilled team while working on various vehicles, from standard passenger cars to light trucks.
Identify potential mechanical service opportunities in partnership with the Sales team.

Qualifications:

Fully licensed as an Automotive Service Technician (Journeyperson/Journeyman or Red Seal certified.
A valid driver’s license.
Brings a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with front-end brakes, shocks, and wheel alignments.
Experienced in performing inspections, diagnostics, adjustments, servicing, and repairs on a variety of vehicles.
Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
