Overview

Shift details: Saturday and Sunday 9 to 3

We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment while assisting with food preparation and meal service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food industry standards, food safety, and providing excellent service in a fast-paced restaurant setting. This position offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills and gain valuable experience in food handling and kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and compliance with health standards
Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning meals
Support cooking activities by preparing ingredients and following recipes under supervision
Maintain a clean and organized work station throughout shifts
Follow food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure proper handling of all food items
Assist with restocking supplies and maintaining inventory levels in the kitchen
Support the kitchen team during busy service times to ensure smooth operation and timely meal delivery

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred but not required
Knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
Ability to perform basic food preparation and meal assembly tasks
Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
Good communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team
Willingness to learn new skills related to cooking, food safety, and restaurant operations
Prior experience with serving or food industry roles is a plus but not mandatory
