Position: Receptionist

Employment Status: Full-Time

Dealership: NewRoads Subaru Newmarket, a division of OpenRoad Auto Group

Compensation: $23/hour

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Promptly answering the telephone in a warm and inviting manner;
Operating a multi-line telephone system, transferring calls to appropriate sales representatives or departments;
Responding to emails promptly;
Welcoming on-site customers, determining the nature of business, and announcing visitors to appropriate personnel when necessary;
Performing various clerical and administrative duties;
Communicating with inquirers and visitors in a professional, friendly and effective manner;
Acquiring basic knowledge about the dealership in order to be able to respond to inquiries for general information;
Maintaining the reception area in a tidy and presentable manner;
Assisting in the administration and coordination of dealer trades when necessary;
Stocking in vehicles when necessary;
Licensing new and used vehicles when necessary;
Distributing mail and coordinating all courier pickup when necessary

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Professional phone manner;
Good communication skills;
Good interpersonal and organizational skills;
Professional business appearance;
Previous dealership experience is an asset
