What You’ll Do
The primary responsibility of the Corporate Account Manager is to find, develop, close, and manage independent stores and small to mid-size multi-unit accounts in the pizza and delivery restaurant industry. This includes the development and implementation of strategic account strategies, and execution of sales revenue and business development opportunities to drive the sales of SpeedLine POS software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain an accurate sales funnel through constant contact with prospects and customers, primarily by phone but also email, social and digital media, while updating all information collected in our CRM products.
- Partner with the Sales Manager and the Senior Corporate Account Manager to complete efficient Enterprise Account transitions from the Enterprise Sales Channels to the Corporate Sales Channel.
- Provide the Sales Manager and the Senior Corporate Account Manager with frequent reporting about the status of the account from both the corporate and the franchise level.
- Take a strategic approach to sales, deliver accurate sales forecasts, ensure effective mining and growth of the designated territory and accounts, resulting in the development and closure of independent stores and small to mid-size multi-unit accounts.
- Provide the Sales Manager with frequent reports regarding the status of accounts and assist in closing sales as required.
- Review and evaluate market conditions and, based on analysis, design and develop aggressive sales strategies to increase sales volume potential.
- Constantly improve strategies and skills using critical questions to demonstrate SpeedLine’s expertise in seeing inside a prospect’s business.
- Follow defined processes to ensure a single point of contact with accounts, partnership on strategic upgrade plans, and retention of existing accounts, providing exemplary customer service.
- Act as a point of contact for customers by fielding initial inquiries and escalating, as necessary, to the proper department, then provide the resolution back to the customer to close the loop, track client satisfaction, and initiate corrective action as needed.
- As directed, travel on occasion to represent the organization at trade shows, conferences and customer/prospect offices to engage with prospects and customers.
- Consistently meet or exceed performance targets and goals as defined by the Sales Manager.
- Manage leads and work in conjunction with the Sales and Marketing staff to leverage leads and address the quality and quantity.
- Support and leverage other channel efforts; field marketing, product launches and desirable sales-generating programs as required.
- Alert the company to opportunities to showcase innovation and develop better marketing or communication collateral.
- Ensure the company is aware of changes in external attitudes, opportunities, economic changes or other variables that would affect the funnel and pipeline.
- Collaborate with available resources to complete product demos, conduct a needs analysis and provide all information necessary for prospects and customers to make an informed decision.
- Ensure that all calls, contacts, and follow-ups with prospects and customers are completed within the guidelines set by the Sales Manager.
- Create appropriate and accurate SpeedLine system configuration quotes and proposals for prospects and customers' needs, including software, service and hardware options as per process.
- Handle After-Market Sales requests from current accounts and distribute as necessary, also provide service renewal and recovery assistance as required.
- Collaborate with the Sales Manager to ensure all necessary documentation for completed sales is collected before approval, and confirm that deposits and final payments are received before proceeding with projects.
- Maintain relationships with lease companies and keep up to date with current leases.
- Develop and maintain cross-functional relationships to ensure the overall success of operational and corporate initiatives.
- Stay current with the pizza industry through regular research (i.e. reading industry magazines, reviewing credible blogs).
We're Looking For Someone Who
- Holds a Post-secondary degree, diploma, or certificate program in a relevant business, sales, or marketing discipline.
- Has a minimum of four years proven direct sales, funnel management, lead qualifying and account management experience, preferably with a software company or similar business-to-business sales environment.
- Demonstrates strong business and financial acumen to understand the financial needs of the prospects and to determine which prospects and opportunities are worth pursuing.
- Is a natural networker, relationship builder and closer, able to build instant rapport on the phone.
- Possesses strong self-motivation, multi-tasking, planning, time management and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrates the ability to develop and retain strong client relationships.
- Has good verbal, written, presentation, consultative selling, project management, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
- Has a proactive and energetic personality with exceptional interpersonal skills, is outgoing, confident, and has an authentic personal presentation.
- Is highly organized, has a strong attention to detail, and is proficient in balancing operational requirements with employee needs.
- Is proficient in using online tools and resources, including CRM systems, Microsoft Office, social media platforms, and research tools, to support sales activities and client management.
- Is available to travel on occasion throughout North America, work a flexible schedule, and possess and maintain a valid BC driver’s license and a valid passport.
Salary Range
$68,000 - $73,000 Base Salary plus on-target commissions estimated at $32,000 per year for meeting quota goals.
Total on-target earnings potential: $100,000 to $105,000 per year.
