Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Banquet Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals (Italian Cuisine an Asset) for banquet events, ensuring all dishes meet our standards for taste, presentation, and food safety. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing exceptional food service for large gatherings and special events. Candidates with a passion for food preparation, cooking, and delivering excellent customer service will thrive in this position.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of banquet dishes according to menu specifications and event requirements
Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly in compliance with food safety standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils
Collaborate with catering staff to ensure timely delivery of meals during events
Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation to uphold high standards
Follow recipes accurately while maintaining consistency in taste and appearance
Assist with meal plating and presentation to enhance visual appeal for guests

Requirements

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or related roles within the food industry or restaurant environment
Italian Cuisine Knowledge and experience required
Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures
Strong skills in serving, meal preparation, and kitchen operations
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy banquet events
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Experience with food handling equipment and techniques used in large-scale food service operations
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed for banquet schedules
Prior restaurant or catering experience is preferred but not mandatory; a passion for culinary arts is essential

Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
