Breakfast Attendant (Weekend Position)

Please Note: This position is primarily for weekend shifts. Applicants must be available to work Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. This role is ideal for students looking for weekend employment, although all qualified applicants are encouraged to apply.

Overview

We are seeking a friendly and dependable Breakfast Attendant to join our team. This weekend position is essential in providing guests with a welcoming breakfast experience while ensuring food safety and maintaining a clean and organized dining area. The ideal candidate has a passion for hospitality, enjoys working early mornings, and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service. Previous restaurant or food service experience is an asset but is not required. This role is especially well suited for students seeking weekend work while gaining valuable experience in the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and assist with their breakfast needs in a courteous and professional manner.
Prepare and serve breakfast items according to established standards and food safety guidelines.
Set up the breakfast buffet before service and ensure everything is fully stocked and presented.
Replenish food items, beverages, and condiments throughout breakfast service.
Maintain the cleanliness of the dining area, buffet stations, and food preparation areas.
Monitor food temperatures and handle food safely to prevent contamination or spoilage.
Clean and break down the breakfast area after service, ensuring it is ready for the next day.
Respond promptly to guest requests while providing exceptional customer service.
Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards.

Requirements

Must be available to work weekends (Saturdays and Sundays), early morning shifts, and holidays.
Students are encouraged to apply.
Previous experience in hospitality, restaurants, or food service is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of food safety and proper food handling practices is an asset.
Friendly, dependable, and customer-focused with a positive attitude.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads required for food setup and cleanup.
Barista or beverage preparation experience is considered an asset.
