Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Head Cook/Line Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, overseeing food service operations, and ensuring that all dishes meet our standards for taste, presentation, and food safety. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about the food industry to contribute to a dynamic restaurant environment and deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation and presentation
Ensure all food handling practices comply with safety and sanitation regulations
Assist in meal planning and ingredient ordering to maintain inventory levels
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace
Serve dishes efficiently while maintaining high customer service standards
Monitor food quality during service and make adjustments as necessary

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service within a restaurant or food industry setting
Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations
Excellent skills in meal preparation and culinary techniques
Ability to serve guests promptly while maintaining quality standards
Experience with kitchen management and team supervision is a plus
Good organizational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and sanitation practices
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
