We are currently looking for a Supervisor to join or Operations team in Kingston, ON.

This role is critical to ensuring efficient operations, maintaining quality standards, and fostering a safe and collaborative work environment. The successful candidate will oversee daily production activities, manage staff performance, and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities and Job Duties

Supervise and coordinate daily activities of production staff across multiple divisions.
Ensure adherence to food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards throughout all processes.
Monitor production schedules and allocate resources to meet operational goals.
Conduct quality checks to maintain product standards and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to promote skill development and productivity.
Maintain accurate records of production output, equipment maintenance, and compliance checks.
Collaborate with management to implement process improvements and efficiency initiatives.
Address and report operational issues, ensuring timely resolution.
Support a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the production environment.

Qualifications

3–5 years of supervisory experience in food production or a similar environment.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and HACCP compliance.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced setting.
Effective communication skills for team coordination and reporting.
Basic proficiency in production metrics and inventory management.
Food handler’s certificate required, additional certifications an asset.
