The Arborist Labourer Role Is for You If You:

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with tree pruning, removal, and other tree care services at residential and commercial properties
- Assist with the preparation and operation of trucks, heavy equipment, chainsaws, rigging systems, and other equipment
- Perform job-site cleanup, including brush and wood removal, raking, and site remediation
- Assist with equipment maintenance and complete daily equipment inspections
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and industry best practices
- Receive training in the safe use of chainsaws, chippers, power tools, and hand tools
- Develop knowledge and identification skills related to trees, shrubs, and other plant species
- Follow instructions provided by the Lead Hand, Foreman, and Management
- Maintain a professional and respectful approach when interacting with coworkers, customers, and the public

Skills & Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid Ontario G driver's licence is mandatory
- DZ or ARZ licence considered a strong asset
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs
- Willingness to work toward becoming a certified arborist
- Previous experience in arboriculture, landscaping, horticulture, or a related industry is considered an asset
- Ability and willingness to work up to 50 hours per week, as required
- Willingness to travel to various job sites throughout the region
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in physically demanding outdoor conditions
