Full job description

Overview-Evenings to 11 pm and some overnights

Join our dynamic team as a Laundry Attendant Evenings and become a vital part of delivering exceptional guest experiences! In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and freshness of linens, towels, and other hotel textiles, ensuring that every item meets our high standards of quality. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment for our guests, making their stay comfortable and memorable. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in hospitality operations while working in a lively evening setting.

Responsibilities

Operate laundry machines efficiently to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, and guest clothing
Ensure all laundry is processed according to safety protocols and quality standards
Sort laundry items by type and color to prevent damage or color bleeding
Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area, including equipment and workspaces
Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and notify management when restocking is needed
Follow proper handling procedures for delicate or special-care items
Assist with other cleaning duties around the hotel as needed to support overall cleanliness and guest satisfaction

Skills

Previous hotel experience is highly desirable, providing familiarity with hospitality standards
Strong knowledge of laundry processes, including machine operation and stain removal techniques
Ability to perform cleaning tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple loads during busy shifts
Positive attitude with a proactive approach to teamwork and guest service
Good physical stamina for standing, lifting, bending, and moving laundry equipment throughout the shift
Clear understanding of safety procedures related to laundry machinery and chemical handling
