Starting wage: $19.05/hour paid bi-weekly via direct deposit

What’s the job?
Overview: Assist drivers and work with a team of movers and packers to load/unload, pack/unpack household or office goods during all phases of the move. Regular shifts are Monday through Friday, 7:45 am* start time with the possibility of occasional evening and weekend shifts. Variable hours through week based on job volume. *some shifts will start earlier based on job-specific parameters
Key Duties:
Assist with the loading and unloading of household goods shipments, at residences and warehouse
Assist with loading/unloading of appliances and fine furniture for commercial deliveries
Assist with packing/unpacking of breakable items
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Assist with truck/trailer upkeep including folding of moving blankets, breaking down of packing material, washing vehicle and equipment as required
Key Skills:
Fast learner: able to take on new tasks and areas of responsibility in a short time frame
Customer service
Capable of safely lifting up to 75 pounds (this is a physically demanding role)
Enjoys physical labour
Attention to detail (this is where you can really shine!)
Good team-player—enjoys working with others to accomplish goals
Dependable and willing to work (your teammates will be counting on you)
