Quinte Assessment and Treatment Group Inc. recherche un(e) thérapeute instructeur(trice) bilingue (français et anglais) pour la région de Kingston afin d'offrir des services du Programme pour l'autisme utilisant l'analyse appliquée du comportement (ABA). Les plans de services pour les enfants et leurs familles fournissent un cadre pour développer des compétences qui améliorent leur autonomie et leur communication, et réduisent les comportements qui entravent l'apprentissage. Le/la thérapeute instructeur(trice) dispensera des programmes d'analyse appliquée du comportement (ABA) aux enfants et à leurs familles sous la direction et la supervision d'un(e) thérapeute senior et superviseur(e) clinique (BCBA).

Nous offrons une formation initiale et continue sur place aux candidats retenus. La formation comprendra, entre autres : les principes de l'ABA, l'observation, la supervision directe, les processus de collecte de données, la certification en prévention et intervention en situation de crise, la certification en systèmes de gestion du comportement, et plus encore !

Qualifications :

Diplôme d’études collégiales ou universitaires en sciences du comportement (STC), psychologie, services aux personnes ayant une déficience intellectuelle (SPI), services sociaux (SS), intervention auprès des enfants et des jeunes (IEJ), éducation à la petite enfance (EPE) ou l’équivalent ;
Permis de conduire valide, assurance automobile et accès à un véhicule personnel pour les services à domicile et en milieu scolaire ;
Vérification récente des antécédents judiciaires, incluant une vérification du secteur vulnérable.

Compétences et expérience :

Enthousiasme pour le travail intensif auprès des enfants et des jeunes ;
Expérience de travail auprès des enfants et des jeunes dans divers contextes (p. ex., école, camps, activités sportives, etc.) (un atout) ;
Motivation et capacité d’apprendre et de perfectionner les compétences en analyse appliquée du comportement (ABA) et en intervention comportementale intensive (IBI) au sein d’une équipe clinique motivée et créative ;
Expérience de l’application des principes de l’analyse appliquée du comportement et du travail auprès d’enfants et de jeunes ayant reçu un diagnostic de trouble du spectre de l’autisme (un atout) ;
Expérience d’enseignement (un atout) ;
Expérience de travail auprès d’enfants et de jeunes présentant des problèmes de comportement, en particulier… Atouts :
Excellentes compétences organisationnelles, autonomie, gestion du temps, documentation et communication ;

Rémunération progressive de 35 $ à 40 $ l’heure selon la formation, les compétences et l’expérience ;

Horaires de travail : du lundi au vendredi, 20 heures par semaine, à l’école et/ou au domicile de l’enfant.

Quinte Assessment and Treatment Group Inc. is seeking a bilingual (French and English Instructor Therapist for the Kingston area to provide Autism Program services utilizing Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA). Service plans for children and families give a framework to develop skills that improve functional living and communication and reduce behaviours that impede this learning. The Instructor Therapist will provide Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) programs to children and their families under the direction and supervision of a Senior Therapist and Clinical Supervisor (BCBA).

We will provide initial and ongoing on-site training to suitable candidates. Training would include but not be limited to: ABA principles, observations, direct supervision, data collection processes, Crisis Prevention & Intervention training certification, Behaviour Management Systems training certification, and more!

Our autism program offers services to children and youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder under the Ontario Autism Program and privately.

Qualifications:

· A College Diploma or University Degree related to Behavioural Science (BST), Psychology, Developmental Services Worker (DSW), Social Services Worker (SSW), Children and Youth Care (CYC), Early Childhood Educator (ECE) or equivalent;

· A valid driver's license, car insurance, and access to a personal vehicle for the provision of home and school services;

· A recent criminal background check with a vulnerable sector search.

Skills and Experience:

· Enthusiasm in working intensively with children and youth;

Experience working with children and youth in diverse settings (i.e. school, camps, sports, etc.) is an asset;
Motivation and ability to learn and expand ABA and IBI skills within a motivated and creative clinical team;
Experience applying the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis and working with children and youth who have been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder is an asset;
Teaching Experience an asset
Experience working with children and youth with behavioural issues, a particular asset;
Strong organizational, self-direction, time management, documentation, and communication skills;

Progressive remuneration ranges from $35 - $40 an hour based on education, skills, and experience;

Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 20 hours/week in the child’s school and/or home setting.
