Résumé du poste

Nous sommes à la recherche d’un(e) Technicien(ne) en ajustement (Fit Technician) – Modéliste (Pattern Maker) qui collaborera avec les équipes internes des ventes, de la production et de la qualité, ainsi qu’avec les clients externes, afin de développer et d’optimiser les patrons des produits finis selon les exigences établies.

Responsabilités

Collaborer avec les équipes de production et de coupe afin de développer des échantillons pour les clients dans les délais prescrits et en respectant les échéances.
Créer et interpréter des modèles numériques à partir de dessins techniques afin d’assurer leur faisabilité en matière de coupe et de fabrication des produits.
Utiliser Gerber AccuMark pour créer des patrons numériques conformes aux croquis ainsi qu’aux gradations de tailles et de formes.
Respecter les spécifications précises des produits et apporter les modifications et ajustements requis tout au long du processus de production.
Optimiser l’utilisation des tissus afin de minimiser le gaspillage.
Créer les étiquettes de certification pour les produits finis.
Maintenir des notes et des directives pour chaque échantillon destinées à l’équipe de production.
Élaborer des fiches techniques comprenant les dessins de présentation et les détails des vêtements selon les demandes des clients ou les informations fournies par l’équipe des ventes.
Mettre à jour les fiches techniques avec les détails finaux de production.
Développer les patrons et préparer les fichiers de coupe pour les échantillons.
Préparer les demandes d’échantillons et la documentation de coupe.
Analyser les essais d’ajustement (fit tests) des échantillons en collaboration avec le contrôle de la qualité et le responsable de la couture.
Créer les nomenclatures de pièces et les fiches de coûts incluant la consommation de tissu.
Effectuer la saisie de données relatives aux matériaux et aux nomenclatures (BOM – Bill of Materials).

Qualifications

Excellente maîtrise du français et de l’anglais, tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit.
Formation souhaitée : AEC en design de mode ou programme technique pertinent.
Expérience professionnelle souhaitée : 3 à 5 ans.
Expérience souhaitée dans un rôle similaire : 1 à 2 ans.
Expérience souhaitée dans un environnement similaire : 1 à 2 ans.
Une expérience avec un système ERP constitue un atout.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Fit Technician - Pattern Maker who will be collaborating with internal sales, production and quality teams, and external clients to build desired patterns of finished products optimally.

Responsibilities:

Working with the production and cutting teams to develop samples for clients in a timely manner by respecting deadlines
Create and interpret digital designs from technical drawings to ensure their feasibility in terms of cutting and product realization
Using Accumark to create digital patterns that correspond to the sketch and grading of dimensions and shapes
Follow precise product specifications, make modifications and alterations throughout the production process
Optimize fabric usage to avoid waste
Create certification labels for finished products
Maintain notes and guidelines for each sample for the production team
Development of technical datasheets with cover drawings and garment details according to customer requests or information provided by the sales agent.
Updating datasheets with final production details
Pattern development and cutfile sample
Preparation of sample request for cut documents
Analyze fit test of samples with quality control and sewing manager
Creation of parts and cost cards with tissue consumption
Data entry of materials and bills

Qualifications:
- French and English spoken and written
- Desired education level: AEC in Fashion Design or technical program
- Desired years of work experience: 3-5
- Desires experience in terms of role: 1-2
- Desired experience in terms of environment: 1-2

- Experience in ERP system is an asset
