Description
DLC Services d'aménagement paysager crée de magnifiques aménagements paysagers et fournit des services d'entretien fiables. Nous recherchons un(e) chef d’équipe en horticulture / entretien des jardins pour se joindre à notre division Jardins en pleine croissance.

Ce poste est idéal pour une personne passionnée par l’horticulture qui aime travailler sur le terrain, encadrer une équipe et offrir un service de grande qualité à nos clients. Nous offrons une opportunité de carrière à l’année, incluant la possibilité de travailler au sein de notre division de déneigement en hiver.

Ce que vous ferez

Diriger et encadrer une équipe de jardiniers en assurant leur formation et leur soutien au quotidien
Réaliser et superviser les travaux d’entretien des jardins résidentiels et commerciaux
Utiliser divers équipements horticoles (taille-haies, élagueurs sur perche, coupe-herbe, souffleurs à dos)
Conduire un camion d’entreprise avec remorque pour transporter l’équipe et l’équipement
Agir comme personne-ressource principale entre les clients et l’équipe sur le terrain
Assurer le suivi précis des heures et des tâches via notre plateforme technologique d’aménagement paysager
Veiller au respect des normes de sécurité et à l’utilisation sécuritaire de l’équipement en tout temps

Ce que nous recherchons

3 ans et plus d’expérience en entretien de jardins résidentiels et/ou commerciaux
Excellente maîtrise des techniques et équipements horticoles (taille, élagage, débroussaillage, entretien général)
Permis de conduire classe 5 valide et capacité de conduire un camion avec remorque
Bonne condition physique, sens du leadership, ponctualité et bonnes capacités de communication
Capacité à donner et suivre des instructions, et à travailler efficacement en équipe
DEC / DEP ou certificat équivalent en horticulture ou aménagement paysager (un atout)
Bilinguisme (un atout)
Connaissance du logiciel ASPIRE (un atout, non requis)
Motivation à évoluer et à grandir avec l’entreprise

Garden Crew Chief - Horticulturist

Location: West Island
Position: Full-Time

DLC Landscape Services, creates beautiful landscapes and provides dependable care. We are looking for a Garden Crew Chief / Horticulturist to join our dynamic Garden Division.

This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about horticulture, enjoys leading a team, and takes pride in delivering high-quality garden care. We offer a long-term career opportunity, including the option to work with our snow removal division during the winter months.

What you’ll do

Lead and support a team of gardeners, providing training and guidance as needed
Perform and oversee daily residential and commercial garden maintenance
Operate horticultural equipment such as hedge trimmers, pole pruners, grass trimmers, and backpack blowers
Drive a company truck with an attached trailer to job sites
Act as the main point of contact between clients and the crew
Accurately track job times and tasks using our landscaping technology platform
Ensure safety procedures and proper equipment use at all times

What we’re looking for

3+ years of experience in residential and/or commercial garden maintenance
Strong knowledge of gardening techniques and equipment (pruning, trimming, dead-heading, general care)
Valid Class 5 driver’s license and ability to drive a truck with a trailer
Good physical fitness, leadership skills, reliability, and strong communication
Ability to give and follow instructions and work well in a team
DEC / DEP or equivalent certificate in ornamental horticulture or landscaping (asset)
Bilingualism (asset)
Knowledge of ASPIRE software (asset, not required)
A genuine interest in growing with the company
