We are a growing team of passionate professionals from various fields, including behavior analysis, speech, occupational, psychomotor, physical, music, and art therapy. We provide services to individuals aged 0–18 in our newly renovated facility, equipped with innovative tools such as a sensory gymnasium, immersive room, and Snoezelen room.

We are looking to add an Occupational Therapist (OT) to further support our therapy team. The OT will provide direct therapy to individuals with a variety of diagnoses and offer consultations to our school students. Sessions take place at our center—some in a school setting.
Part-time contract position with the possibility of transitioning to a full-time role.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments
- Implement interventions using the following approaches: interdisciplinary, relationship-based, ability-based, reflective practices, and family-focused
- Develop and monitor individualized intervention plans with data collection
- Write progress and exit reports as needed
- Complete reports requested for schools, disability allowances, grants, etc.
- Participate in peer supervision with other OTs and psychomotor therapists
- Collaborate and contribute to comprehensive programming and initiatives with school and developmental center staff
- Support the preparation and development of programs and materials for classroom or early intervention groups
- Provide ongoing supervision to school staff implementing OT recommendations
- Provide consultation and education to families/parents regarding the client's needs and goals
- Conduct observations and provide support in community settings (as COVID-19 restrictions allow)
- Deliver professional trainings and suggest relevant training topics for school staff and other professionals during pedagogical days
Qualifications:
- Member of the Ordre des ergothérapeutes du Québec (OEQ)
- Minimum of one year of experience working with pediatric populations
- Ability to accept supervision and guidance
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Collaborative attitude and willingness to mentor new staff
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Flexibility to work in multiple environments and adapt easily
- Recent Police Check/Vulnerable Sector Screening (within 6 months)
- Bilingual (French/English) preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $31.99-$56.54 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
