We are seeking a Marketing Coordinator / Sales Development Representative to support our growing sales team. Reporting to the VP Sales, this role will combine practical marketing execution with outbound sales development activities. The ideal candidate is organized, energetic, comfortable with customers, and interested in learning both marketing and sales in a technical B2B environment. The successful candidate will support marketing campaigns, content creation, social media management, and administrative coordination while helping integrate AI-powered solutions into everyday marketing and sales operations. What You Will Do
- Support the VP Sales and sales team with campaigns, trade shows, presentations, sales materials and provide regular updates
- Create and edit content for social media, email marketing, websites, and promotional materials
- Use AI tools to improve content creation, research, reporting, and workflow efficiency
- Schedule and monitor social media posts and audience engagement
- Conduct market and competitor research
- Maintain marketing databases, calendars, and campaign reports
- Support website updates, SEO activities, and analytics tracking
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and external partners
- Conducting outbound prospecting via calls, emails, and social media
- Researching potential clients to understand their business needs and identify opportunities
- Qualifying leads to ensure they meet criteria for a sales opportunity before passing them to account executives
- Scheduling meetings or demos for the sales team
- Maintaining accurate records in HubSpot CRM, tracking interactions, lead status, and lifecycle stages
What Success Looks Like
Success in this position means becoming a reliable contributor to both marketing execution and sales development efforts while helping Summit Water continue to grow in the water and sustainability industry. It is also measured by lead generation results, campaign effectiveness, customer engagement and teamwork.
Required Experience
- College or university degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field
- 1-3 years of marketing, sales support, customer service or business development preferred
- Digital media experience preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Comfortable conducting outbound calls and speaking with customers and vendors
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace
- Familiarity with social media platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Interest in technical products and industrial sales

- ChatGPT
- Claude AI
- Microsoft Copilot

- Grammarly
- AI-powered scheduling, analytics, or automation platforms
- Basic graphic design or video editing skills
- Understanding of SEO and email marketing
- Experience with AI-assisted content creation and prompt writing
