Simpson Print is an established print company providing high-quality print, finishing, and customer-focused service to a wide range of clients. With a team of approximately 60 employees, we are large enough to offer structure and stability, while still maintaining a hands-on, team-oriented workplace.
We are looking for a relationship and customer service-oriented Junior Sales Representative to support our sales and marketing functions. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to be mentored by our VP of Sales. The successful candidate will receive $50,000 base salary plus a commission.
Key Responsibilities
o Assisting our VP of Sales and Marketing with proposal preparation, presentation materials, and customer research
o Prospecting leads with direction and mentorship from the VP of Sales and Marketing
o Learn and maintain comprehensive understanding of company products, services, and competitive positioning
o Tracking and reporting on sales activities, pipeline progress, and performance metrics using established systems and processes
o Managing and growing relationships with existing clients
o Offering solutions and adding value to new and existing client relationships
o Providing timely and professional communication throughout the sales process, as well as production and delivery information
o Working with Estimating, Purchasing, and Pre-Press to ensure accurate and timely delivery to the client
o Accurately complete all internal quotes, contracts, and agreements with careful attention to detail.
Skills and Abilities
o Print industry knowledge is preferred
o minimum of 2 years of experience with sales, customer service, or business development
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
o Ability to work independently and stay focused.
o Provide excellent customer care.
o Ability to work collaboratively with internal departments.
o Ability to build and maintain relationships with your clients.
o Be adaptable and operate within a fast-moving environment.
o Strong attention to detail and project management skills.
o Proficient use of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
