Full job description

The QUIKRETE® Companies, the leading producer of packaged cement and concrete products, is seeking Production Operators for our Cambridge, Ontario facility. We offer a competitive pay package starting at $24 per hour, plus shift premium for the afternoon shift. We have a strong family benefits package that includes extended health & dental insurance, health spending account, short and long term disability, EFAP, paid sick and vacation days, overtime pay after 40 hours, and a company matched RRSP plan. We complete annual wage reviews and also have an employee product purchase discount program.

Production Operator:

This is a permanent full time role responsible packaging of raw materials into bags using automated and semi-automated plant equipment. This is an afternoon/evening shift working 4x 10hrs, starting at 3pm - 1:30am.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Organized and able to provide attention to detail, as well as multitasking
Physically fit with the ability to lift 40kg / 88lbs at a time
Excellent communication skills
Excellent punctuality and attendance
Forklift certification is considered an asset though we are willing to train the right applicant
