Asensean Advisory Services, a fractional operations services provider, works with Redcan, InMark Solutions, and early phase AI based technology companies in their creation and scale up. InMark Solutions, an independent partner organization, is building up their Marketing team and looking for a Marketing & Event Coordinator Co-op / Intern to start as soon as possible for a 4 month contract term with possible extension longer term.
This role is based in the Waterloo, Ontario area due to some events that need to be organized.
This role will help us build corporate websites (including our own!), marketing materials, and organize events working with our fractional marketing team.
In simple terms, you will help our clients decide what to say, who to say it to, how to say it, and how to measure whether it worked. This can be categorized in the following scope of work:
Strategy and Planning: Assist in developing marketing and communications plans that support business goals, such as increasing awareness, generating leads, improving reputation, launching a product, or supporting an event.
Brand and Messaging: Help define or refine the organization's positioning, key messages, value proposition, and brand story so communications are clear and consistent.
Content Development: Assist in writing or guiding the creation of website copy, brochures, email campaigns, social media posts, presentations, press releases, newsletters, case studies, sales materials, and event materials.
Campaign Support: Assist in planning and managing marketing campaigns across channels such as email, web, social media, advertising, public relations, direct mail, and events.
Communications Management:Support internal and external communications, including announcements, stakeholder updates, media responses, speeches, executive messages, and crisis communications.
Digital Marketing: Advise on website structure, SEO, analytics, social media strategy, online advertising, landing pages, and lead generation.
Event and Conference Support:Help with invitations, sponsorship materials, signage, speaker messaging, program content, media outreach, and post-event follow-up.
Vendor and Project Management: Coordinate designers, web developers, printers, photographers, writers, advertising platforms, media contacts, or event suppliers.
Measurement and Reporting: Track results such as website traffic, campaign performance, engagement, media coverage, leads generated, event attendance, and overall return on marketing investment.
Required Core Skills
- High attention to detail.
- Proficiency in creative tools and software.
- Proficiency in AI and LLM tools to facilitate automation, creation, and iteration such as Claude or ChatGPT and specialized prompt engineering capability.
- Well developed ability to communicate in English with varied audiences and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Ability to think critically, with bias to action, and a high sense of urgency.
Pay: $50,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Waterloo, ON (Waterloo District)
