Job Summary:
The Carpenter help will support our Construction team with a range of tasks related to interior remodeling and renovation projects, including framing, trim work, drywall, flooring, and other finish carpentry duties. The ideal candidate is experienced, detail-oriented, and able to work independently on-site with minimal supervision. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, a commitment to quality workmanship, and the ability to manage tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with demolition of walls, flooring, cabinetry, and other interior components
- Load and unload materials and tools
- Measure, cut, and install materials under supervision
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite
- Assist carpenters, drywallers, and other skilled trades
- Operate hand and power tools safely
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Perform general labour duties as assigned by the site supervisor or lead hand
Requirements:
- Previous experience in construction or renovations
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
- Knowledge of tools and safety practices
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various residential and commercial environments, including all weather conditions
- CSA-approved safety boots required
- Self supplied hand tools
- Valid driver’s license with clean record
- Clear criminal record

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
