Logistics Coordinator / Load Planner
We are looking to add an experienced Logistics Coordinator to our transportation, third-party logistics (3PL), warehousing, and distribution team.
This is not an entry-level position. We are seeking a highly organized, forward-thinking logistics professional who can independently manage client accounts, accurately rate freight, build transportation solutions, and execute shipments in a fast-moving, deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage assigned client accounts with a high level of accuracy, responsiveness, and accountability.
- Plan, build, and execute transportation loads across multiple customers, orders, and timelines.
- Independently rate freight while understanding margins, accessorial charges, cost impacts, and service requirements.
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of both LTL tariff pricing and Per 100 Weight (CWT) pricing methodologies, and know when each applies.
- Coordinate domestic and international transportation solutions while balancing service expectations and profitability.
- Identify and resolve issues proactively before they impact service, cost, or customer satisfaction.
- Adjust plans quickly when conditions change while maintaining control of critical details.
- Work closely with warehouse operations, carriers, drivers, customers, and internal teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Ensure all shipment documentation, billing details, and operational requirements are complete and accurate.
White Glove Logistics Experience
The ideal candidate understands that White Glove service extends far beyond transportation.
Experience coordinating and executing White Glove deliveries is highly desirable, including:
- Inside delivery and room-of-choice placement
- Debris and packaging removal
- Meeting on-site technical support and installation teams
- Specialized handling procedures for sensitive, high-value, or oversized products
- Equipment planning, site access reviews, and delivery requirement assessments
- Coordinating multi-step deliveries requiring precision timing and customer communication
Candidates should have a proven record of successfully managing White Glove transportation solutions in both domestic and international markets while maintaining exceptional customer service standards.

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in logistics coordination, load planning, freight brokerage, or transportation operations.
- Strong hands-on experience with freight rating, carrier selection, and transportation cost analysis.
- Direct experience within transportation-focused 3PL, warehousing, distribution, or freight management environments.
- Demonstrated ability to manage high shipment volumes while maintaining service and profitability.
- Strong understanding of transportation pricing structures, including LTL and Per 100 Weight rating systems.
Preferred Assets
- Experience managing multiple customer accounts simultaneously.
- Experience with White Glove transportation and specialized delivery services.
- Familiarity with TMS systems, freight documentation, customs requirements, and billing processes.
- Experience in fast-paced, service-critical logistics operations.
