Schedule: Full-time (0.8 FTE) - 32 hours per week

GENERAL SUMMARY
Cleveland Clinic Canada is seeking a driven, confident, growth minded Movement and Performance Specalist to join our team. In this role, you will assess patients' needs, develop tailored exercise programs, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes. WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Conduct annual clinical exercise assessments on individual patients, including review of medical history, completion of exercise capacity assessments (VO2 max testing), muscle strength testing, flexibility.
- Provide a customized and tailored exercise prescription and physical activity recommendations based on patient-centered goals using evidence-based methods.
- Collaborate with a large interdisciplinary team to carry out a patient’s executive health day.
- Provide appropriate internal referral follow-ups depending on the patient’s current condition and/or limitations.
- Record rehabilitation and strength programs in electronic medical records system (EPIC).
- Attend team meetings with allied care providers to discuss patient progress, philosophies and share ideas.
- Help to keep the exercise environment in good condition, clean and tidy.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Master's degree in Exercise Physiology / Kinesiology.
- Registered member and in good standing with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario or hold a certification in either ACSM-CEP, CSEP-CEP, or HFFC.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience demonstrated through strong clinical practice, ideally in an acute and chronic rehabilitative care setting.
- Advanced training in exercise principles/prescription for clinical populations, graded exercise testing and rehabilitation.
- Strong understanding of medical conditions, chronic disease management, and knowledge of appropriate exercise prescription and progressions.
- An understanding of stress tests, ECG’s and VO2’s.
- Strong relationship-building skills.

The salary range reflects the expected compensation for this position. The final salary offered will be determined based on a holistic assessment of the candidates’ experience, education, training and alignment with the role’s expectations.
