Job Summary

Le Bistro recherche un(e) chef de cuisine autonome pour assurer le service du soir. Vous serez responsable de la gestion complète de la cuisine en soirée : supervision de la brigade, qualité des plats, respect des normes d'hygiène et rythme de service. Expérience significative en cuisine exigée, avec références vérifiables. Autonomie, leadership et sang-froid en période d'achalandage sont essentiels.

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Chef de Cuisine de Soir to lead our evening culinary operations. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in food preparation, restaurant management, and team leadership within the hospitality industry. As the evening head chef, you will oversee all aspects of kitchen activities during the night shift, ensuring the delivery of high-quality dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and fostering a collaborative environment for your team. Your expertise will contribute to creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while upholding the restaurant’s reputation for excellence.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate all culinary activities during the evening shift, ensuring smooth kitchen operations.
Lead food preparation and cooking processes to meet quality standards and presentation expectations.
Manage and train kitchen staff, including cooks, sous-chefs, and support personnel, promoting teamwork and professional development.
Oversee food handling procedures to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain rigorous sanitation standards.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery, including bartending and serving when necessary.
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and control food costs to optimize efficiency without compromising quality.
Implement standard operating procedures for food safety, hygiene, and kitchen organization to uphold industry best practices.
Foster a positive work environment that encourages creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement among team members.

Requirements

Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting with a focus on evening operations.
Extensive background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food industry standards.
Strong leadership skills with demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of food safety protocols and sanitation regulations essential for maintaining compliance.
Experience in restaurant management including inventory control, cost management, and staff scheduling.
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members across various roles such as bartenders and servers.
Previous restaurant experience with familiarity in hospitality environments is highly desirable.
Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and service.
