Overview

We are seeking (both full-time and part-time) friendly, detail-oriented Cashiers to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, efficiently handle transactions, and contribute to a positive shopping experience. This role offers an opportunity to develop strong communication and sales skills within a dynamic retail environment. Bilingual abilities and experience in technology sales or product demos are considered valuable assets. The Cashier position is a role that plays a vital part in maintaining smooth store operations and customer satisfaction.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases
Operate POS systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges
Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments with precision and security
Provide product information, conduct product demos when needed, and upsell items to enhance sales
Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure the checkout area is clean and welcoming
Manage customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as required
Uphold organizational standards for time management and efficient service delivery
Demonstrate excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening
Relay customer comments/suggestions/complaints to supervisor in order for management to continiously improve the store and and customer experience

Experience

Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering preferred but not required; training will be provided
Strong basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
Experience in technology sales or product demonstrations is a plus
Bilingual abilities (English plus additional languages) are highly desirable for serving diverse customers
Proven organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating positive shopping experiences
Ability to manage time efficiently, prioritize tasks, and maintain professionalism under pressure
