JayGray Contracting Inc. is a small business based out of Lacombe, Alberta. Specializing in agricultural building projects within Central Alberta.
We are in need of a skilled Carpenter and Laborer to join our team of construction professionals. The ideal candidate for this position has previous carpentry experience & is experienced with a variety of carpentry tools. The successful candidate will work closely with the senior building staff, meet project deadlines and ensure the quality of all construction jobs.
Wages based on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Work at heights installing truss/roof systems.
- pour concrete walls & prep floors for concrete
- Stand or squat for extended periods of time.
- Bend, kneel, crouch or crawl and work at heights.
- Carry and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Use hand tools, power tools and other equipment.
- Paid drive time one way in personal vehicle or use of company truck with other employees.
- 1-2 years carpentry experience preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour
