Overview

Join our vibrant team as a Hairstylist/Barber and unleash your creativity while delivering exceptional grooming experiences! In this dynamic role, you will provide expert hair styling and grooming services, ensuring every client leaves feeling confident and satisfied. Your enthusiasm for hairstyling, combined with excellent customer service skills, will help create a welcoming environment where clients look forward to their visits. Duties

Perform professional haircuts, styling, coloring, and grooming services tailored to each client’s preferences and needs
Maintain a clean and sanitized work area in accordance with health regulations to ensure safety for clients and staff
Engage with clients through active communication to understand their desired looks and provide expert recommendations
Upsell additional services or retail products such as hair care products to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
Manage front desk responsibilities including scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and handling payments
Build strong relationships with clients through attentive service, encouraging repeat visits and positive reviews
Stay updated on the latest trends, techniques, and sanitation practices to deliver top-quality service consistently

Qualifications

Proven experience as a hairstylist or barber with a strong portfolio of work showcasing your skills in hair styling and grooming
Excellent customer service and communication skills to connect with diverse clients effectively
Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices for maintaining a clean work environment
Ability to upsell retail products confidently while prioritizing client needs
Strong organizational skills for managing appointments and front desk duties efficiently
Retail sales experience is a plus, demonstrating your ability to promote products naturally within service interactions
A valid cosmetology or barber license as required by local regulations
