Human Resources Generalist

Job Summary

We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Human Resources Generalist to support a wide range of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, onboarding, and policy implementation. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and committed to fostering a positive and compliant workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, reference checks, and onboarding.

· Coordinate new hire orientation and employee onboarding activities.

· Maintain accurate employee records and HR information systems (HRIS).

· Administer employee benefits programs and assist employees with benefit-related questions.

· Support performance management processes, including evaluations and employee development initiatives.

· Assist with employee relations matters by responding to questions, resolving workplace concerns, and supporting investigations as needed.

· Ensure compliance with federal, state/provincial, and local employment laws and company policies.

· Coordinate leave administration, including vacation, sick leave, and applicable leave programs.

· Prepare HR reports, metrics, and documentation.

· Assist with training and professional development programs.

· Support compensation activities, including salary reviews and market research.

· Participate in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.

· Assist with employee engagement and retention initiatives.

· Perform other HR-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

· 2 years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist or similar HR role preferred

· Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.

· Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.

· Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
