Assistant Kitchen Manager (AKM)

Assistant Kitchen Managers at Canada's leading casual dining restaurant, Boston Pizza, oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including the training, development, and performance management of kitchen team members. They are responsible for ensuring that our most important people—our Guests and team members—have an exceptional Boston Pizza experience from start to finish. They demonstrate outstanding leadership, champion a fun and safe work environment, and contribute to a thriving workplace culture. The Assistant Kitchen Manager leads the team during daily operations, focusing on serving perfect food every time while working with a sense of purpose and urgency.

Requirements

Previous experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary trends.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with inventory management systems.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations within the food service industry.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Food Safe certification (or the ability to obtain it) is considered an asset.
