Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Aluminum Boat Builder, Fabricator, and Welder to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, assembling, and welding aluminum boats and related components with precision and craftsmanship. Your expertise will contribute to creating high-quality vessels that meet safety standards and customer specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your mechanical skills and attention to detail will make a tangible impact.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly of aluminum boats.
Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and welding equipment (MIG and TIG) to cut, shape, and join aluminum components.
Perform welding operations with precision to ensure strong, durable joints that meet industry standards.
Operate cranes, forklifts, and rigging equipment safely to move heavy materials and assembled parts throughout the manufacturing process.
Conduct quality inspections using calipers, schematics, and basic math skills to verify dimensions and tolerances during fabrication.
Assemble various boat components including ductwork, structural frames, and outfitting parts with attention to detail.
Follow safety protocols diligently while working with machinery, welding equipment, and heavy materials in a manufacturing or construction environment.

Skills

Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques for aluminum fabrication.
Familiarity with construction or boat building experience is highly desirable.
Knowledge of schematics, assembly instructions, ductwork installation, and basic math for measurements.
Competence in using calipers and other measuring tools for quality control purposes.
