Full job description

Location : Port Coquitlam, BC

Additional pay:

Overtime pay
Travel time for sites outside of the GVRD / Fraser Valley

Key Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Applicants must have a valid Level 2 Asbestos license.
Loading and unloading material supplies and equipment.
Abatement remediation and demolition.
Abatement of asbestos, mold, lead and other building materials.
Cleaning up spills, removing construction debris and other duties as required.
Perform abatement duties as a preferred vendor for the restoration company.
Adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
Respirator is a part of the PPE and will be required to adhere to the standards of WorkSafe BC.

Job Knowledge and Skills:

On-the-job training will be provided, based on the task assigned and tools that may be required.
Prolonged periods standing, climbing ladders, bending, and kneeling.
Must be able to carry/lift up to 50lbs.
Able to get to the job site on a daily basis.
Nice to have a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle would be an asset.
Spanish speaking would be considered an asset.
