If you are seeking flexible fun work and a chance to chat with lots of people, being a food demonstrator with Embr Events may be a great fit for you!

Embr Events, Canada’s No. 1 leading beverage alcohol experiential marketing, is seeking out new, upbeat and outgoing Brand Ambassadors to join our fast growing and energetic team.

As a demonstrator, you will be conducting food samplings in a grocery store setting. You can work anywhere from 1 weekend per month, depending on what works for you! Shifts are 7 hours in length Monday - Saturday throughout the week. There is no minimum or maximum shift requirement, we just need you to be reliable for what you sign up for!

You will be paid out (via direct deposit) within 5 to 7 business days following a timely submission of your post shift report.

Note: Registering with us as a Brand Ambassador in one region will also make you eligible to work tastings in other neighboring areas. We offer mileage pay to travel to stores more than 30km away from your home.

***A current BC Food Safety certification is required***

Requirements

Valid Food Safety Certification
Reliable Vehicle: Required to safely transport sampling equipment.
Inventory Management & Storage: You may be responsible for storing and managing merchandise at home for 3–4 weeks between shifts.
Grocery Store Familiarity: Previous grocery or in-store merchandising experience is a strong asset.
Ability to lift 10lb boxes

Grocery Sampling Overview

In-store demo: Preparing and presenting a simple recipe
Merchandising: Installing shelf talkers and stickers throughout the store.
Visual audit & manager check-in: Connecting with store management to discuss wins and challenges.

Pay: $24.00 per hour
