Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head Server/Supervisor to lead our front-of-house team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. This role requires a strong background in food service, customer service, and restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, a thorough understanding of food safety and sanitation standards, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently. As a key member of our team, you will oversee daily service operations, ensure high-quality service standards, and support staff development to create a welcoming and efficient environment for our guests.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of servers and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing customer needs promptly and professionally.
- Oversee food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures in compliance with health regulations.
- Manage POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing, cashiering, and cash handling.
- Assist with serving guests, upselling menu items to increase sales, and ensuring timely delivery of food and beverages.
- Monitor table assignments, seating arrangements, and reservation management to optimize service flow.
- Train new staff on restaurant policies, food safety protocols, and customer service standards.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism to maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the restaurant environment.
- Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation when necessary and coordinate between front-of-house and kitchen teams.
Experience
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably in supervisory roles such as head server or lead waiter.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, along with cash handling experience.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively during busy periods.
- Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Prior experience in hospitality or guest services is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for billing and inventory purposes accurately.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate team members and manage staff schedules efficiently.
- Experience with upselling techniques to enhance sales opportunities within the restaurant setting.

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
