Full job description

In this role, you will work closely with the HR and Operations teams while also providing administrative support to various departments across the organization. You will gain exposure to a wide range of business functions and develop valuable skills in a professional workplace environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide administrative support to the HR, Operations, Accounting, and Certification departments
Assist with reception duties, including greeting visitors, answering phone calls, and responding to incoming inquiries
Maintain and update administrative records, business licences, certificates of insurance, databases, directories, and office documentation
Assist with employee onboarding, including workstation setup and other employee requirements
Coordinate internal and external shipments between company locations
Monitor office supply inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed
Support scheduling, filing, document preparation, and data entry
Assist with maintaining an organized, professional, and efficient workplace
Support Joint Occupational Health & Safety (JOHS) activities and related administrative tasks
Coordinate with different departments to support effective communication and workflow
Assist with employee documentation and general HR administrative processes
Support additional administrative projects and duties as assigned

Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Comfortable using Microsoft Office and other computer-based systems
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently while also being a team player
Previous office, administrative, HR, or customer service experience is an asset
Students or recent graduates interested in Human Resources, Business Administration, Office Administration, or a related field are encouraged to apply
