WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
As a Plumbing Installation Technician, you will:
- Deliver high-quality plumbing installations that meet or exceed industry standards.
- Take pride in clean, professional workmanship.
- Work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.

- Support apprentices and help develop the next generation of tradespeople.
- Represent First District Mechanical with professionalism on every project.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Installation & Construction
- Commercial plumbing installations
- Domestic water system installations
- Drainage and waste system installations
- Hydronic piping installations
- Mechanical room piping installations
- Equipment replacements and upgrades
- Tenant improvement projects
- Retrofit and modernization projects
- Reading and interpreting drawings and specifications
- Coordinating work with other trades and project teams
Quality & Safety
- Ensure installations meet applicable codes and standards
- Maintain high-quality workmanship
- Complete work safely and professionally
- Keep job sites clean and organized
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Team Contribution
- Work collaboratively with project managers, foremen, and technicians
- Support apprentices and junior team members
- Contribute to a positive team culture
- Help identify solutions when challenges arise in the field
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- Journeyperson Plumber (Red Seal preferred)
- Valid Driver's License
- Minimum 3 years of commercial plumbing installation experience
- Strong understanding of plumbing systems and installation practices
- Ability to read drawings and specifications
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Clean driving abstract
Assets
- Class B Gas Ticket
- Hydronic heating experience
- Mechanical room installation experience
- Backflow certification
- Leadership or mentoring experience

Pay: $50.00-$58.00 per hour
